Beer + Coffee + Cigarettes + H.P. Lovecraft + Awesome iTunes playlist (Modest Mouse, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Nirvana [unplugged], The Doors, Radiohead) = A good start to a day that's going nowhere.
I wish my ipod had some White Stripes. Yes, jack is an annoying pretentious diva.. but I dig the music. And meg has rockin' tits!
In Rainbows - from the basement (live recording) The Bends OK Computer That's what I have on my ipod atm. My first and favorite CD from them was Hail to the Theif and my favorite song by them bar-none is "Where I End and You Begin"
"I will eat you alive, I will eat you alive..." That song is really good, I haven't listened to in rainbows very thoroughly, ok computer is probably consistently my favorite but I cycle between which album I enjoy at the moment from them.
Strange thing I noticed is that I tend to listen to sad songs more than anything, but listening to them makes me feel happy.
Random lyric that I dig. "Let me tell you how I love myself: I'll be carried by six before I'm judged by twelve" - Styles P
Man, I had nightmares and woke up with a depressing song going through my head.. set the mood for a bad day I guess. It's about time I turn it around!
Lovecraft I drove through the mythical towns of dunwich and arkham yesterday while returning home to the new hampshire seacoast from western massachusetts The girls from miskatonic university are a little too drab (and dead) for my taste Hotwater
Radiohead is boss. Hail is a fantastic record. You've got to listen to it, dude. It's just as relevant as there other records, just more strait forward and acoustic. Reckoner, All I Need, 15 Step- all amazing songs. Albums in order of greatest, in my eyes. 7. Pablo Honey 6. Amnesiac 5. In Rainbows 4. Hail To The Thief 3. Kid A 2. The Bends 1. OK Computer Point of the list, it's not even in the better half of their accomplishments, but it's still stellar.
