In a crowd I gave a friend an Aleve out of my wallet for his headache and was taken aside by the police and searched. If you give a headache pill out in public look out.

 

did they confiscate the rest of your pills if you had any. was it in the original packaging? did you have anything else on you?

when i got busted for selling weed, they found a bag of generic ibuprofen and confiscated them. i hope they spent a lot of taxpayer money doing tests on them. they also stole my nice duffel bag, but i guess that's what i get for hiding my illegal drugs in it.

 

Yup ALL medicine OTC or not must be in its original package. With all the problems with people taking rx drugs to get high they are pretty serious about it.

 

I don't blame them, actually. Who usually carries aspirin free in there wallet? That's why you should leave them in the casing, probably why they don't put them in bottles instead.

They are in a baggie but I wasn't worried because they are just Aleve. It was definitely a big mistake on my part, I'm hoping this might help someone someday as well as being a fun story.

I do. I can't rely on someone having them for me whenever or wherever I get a headache. I carry enough stuff in my pockets without having a stupid pill bottle rattling around.

 

a while back i got busted during a traffic stop where the police found a couple different things (no need to mention what they were - was facing some seriousness, but got off thanks to a good lawyer ). i happened to have some cone incense in a plastic baggy that they had no idea what it was. i told them that it was incense and i think they eventually believed me. i dont recall them testing it or anything.

they did ask to see my friend's glass pendant on her necklace because they thought it was a pipe and I spose i was playing dumb about the stuff they found that was getting me in trouble in the first place (no reason to incriminate yourself!), so i was actually kinda surprised they believed that the cones were really incense.

bottom line: you can avoid some bullshit hassles if you don't make normal things (ie ibuprofen) look sketchy (ie by putting them in random places and/or baggies).

 

I was at a party once that got busted. Ending up arresting a couple people because they were simply underage, and let everybody else go home. UNTIL, they found what they thought was "cocaine" or some "schedule 2 narcotic" but it was just - Goody's powders. Yah, somebody was getting ready to do a Goody's prior to the cops coming and had 2-3 of them laying out on the kitchen counter. Nothing to identify it with, he bagged and labeled and sent it off to be tested. He was calling backup and saying "a possible schedule 2" this and that. It came back negative, of course.

So yeah, gotta be careful.. They thinking paycheck. Bigger the bust, the more money.

 

My friend and I got shaken down after a GD show by a federal marshal because he put a pack of matches in the top pocket of my jacket. The marshal told us he seen us acting suspicious and had cause to search us. Neither of us was carrying so nothing came of it. But it goes to show you cant be to careful around them, they will screw you anyway they can.

 

Excuse my ignorance, but do they not issue headache medication in blister packs in America? Or is it purely bottled?



Because they fit in a wallet, anyways.

 

Looks pretty good. I might be able to find naproxen in one of those, but will still have to pretend it's something illegal so prying eyes don't get the wrong idea again. Thanks.

 

Haha, so you do use those. You can't use them for storage, they are foil covered on the other side, once it's open and the foil is broke that's it

Put willow twigs in your purse to chew on for a headache. It is a natural source of salicylic acid, an effective chemical cousin of aspirin and free for the taking if willow trees grow nearby.

Last month when I saw Slayer/Megadeth they searched everyone as we entered the venue and the found a sandwich bag full of gum in my backpack and the guy was like "shit man, why did you have to do this now the cops have to look at it" (he looked annoyed as hell) the cop comes over and looks at the gum and says "Is this gum?" and I say "yeah".

The cop goes "what flavour is it?" I say "mint or something" the cop goes "or something? What's that?" then I was just like "take a piece man, it's fuckin' gum". The cop rolled his eyes and walked back to the other cops.

I was thinking "wow, this really is an intense search".

Then he finds my water bottles and the gaurd (who's like 20 or something) says "Jesus kid, these better be sealed water bottles" and I said "well one of them is". The guy looks at me like he's about to snap and then waves the cops back over and they watch and they both ask me "whats in the water bottles?" ..... "water.."

Then the cop goes "can I take a sip?" I say "why? Are you thirsty or do you have to do it to see if it's not alcohol?" Then he gets a smug look on his face and says "why? Does it matter?" And I go, "yeah it does, if your thirsty it's gonna be 3.99 for the bottle, if you need to check it you can have it for free".

Then he laughed and I gave him the water bottle. I had 4 others and they didn't even make me throw them out like they were for everyone else... Probably because I'm so damn charming.

Oh, and the funniest thing was that I had my dope inside my sweater that was in the same compartment in my backpack as the water bottles..... I mean c'mon, they're spending thousands of dollars on security and they don't check a sweater in a backpack? I could have brought a gun for christ sakes lol.

At Phish for the past two years NO ONE has been checked at all, not even an "empty your pockets" ordeal. Luckily though knowing the crowd at a Phish show there will be no weapons present, but HOLY FUCK there are just so many drugs that get in that it is actually pretty funny. I guess security's job at that show is to just kick your ass if you start shit or try to rush the stage lol.
