    Hey all,

So I read a story about the US Senate passing a law that gives people double the penalties for trying to sell or use food that has pot in it. That's right, twice as much jail time for cooking the weed than just possessing it in its raw form.

    Can you believe this shit?

Our justice system is already screwed up from locking up all of these non-violent offenders. Now we are trying to add punishments? We need to stop locking up these non-violent offenders. Make them do community service or join a program that gives back to the community, but stop processing them like your daily thief and rapist.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

    -cracks up-

They try so hard. My friend went to ALC a few months ago because a teacher at our school took his girlfriend's phone and went through it, and read in a text that he was making pot brownis. Got sent there for like, two months.

It's pretty ridiculous. My dad told me that when he was our age, they just caught you and sent you home and you went out and did it again the next night. Now they fucking destroy you.

Yep, the criminalization of cannabis may not be the one of the biggest problems in our society, but it's certainly up there. Perhaps the government is worried that if people started smoking weed together, they would begin talking about important topics, and wondering why in the world we have so many fucked up policies.

I dont really understand why this is been brought into affect? Did something happen that spurred this? Maybe it was that incident a little while ago at that one McDonalds were the workers put buds in the food? I dont really remember the specific incident and really cant be bothered to find the exact article at the moment but i am sure someone knows what im talking about.
