Have never had the pleasure of doing handstands :(

I really like Octopi, they're intelligent and one in Germany predicted the outcome of 4 matches in the world cup. But you can never have one as a pet unless it's in a glass box because they escape because of their amazing problem-solving skills and boneless body. But mainly I love them because they're peaceful although they could kill you easily. Some medium-sized and large octopi have been known to kill sharks. Tis' a shame they have such a short life-span.

Also, when a male mates, he dies two months after. Bummer :(

If I died two months after I first mated, I would've had a rather good life.

Can't say my girlfriend would've liked that though..

But an octopus have no bones so it wouldn't be able to support the handstanding :(

I'm sure an octopus would make for a terrific breakdancer :D

we had a regular that used to come into the store i worked in and he was a really cool older man. He was always really fun to talk to and he told me a story once about a pet octopus that he had once.

The octopus could communicate with his dog. The dog and the octopus became best friends and one day the octopus got stuck in the water filter in the top of the tank. The guy was sitting in the other room with the dog when the dog jumped up and ran out of the room. he said he felt that their was something terribly wrong.

After his experience with his octopus he told me he questioned whether the dog and the octopus could communicate telepathically or even if he could sense the octopus as well.

it cool to think about octopi being able to read minds and communicate that way(like aliens) or if they can see into the funture too.:p

I wouldn't be surprised if they could. Sharks have can sense movements by electrical waves or whatever so if some species have other senses that we do not it would make sense :D

Love them. Very intelligent animals as well. Theres a slideshow around somewhere with an octopus opening a jar to get at the lobster inside, and eating it.
