for example, once I will quit for real, I mean, no psychological craving anymore, I will 1. get my teeth whitened 2. have nice breath (uh oh well I hope 3. age (even) better 4. open up a savings account and have a downpayment on a house soon (in like twenty years) 5. drink more and have more money for drinking, or smoking pot 6. live longer 7. my kids wont smoke !!!!!! (and if they will i would dispose of them anyway right?) 8. I wont have to smoke inside and then smell it while I sleep 9. I can maybe start exercising. maybe 10. people will finally like to make out with me ..... and Its been over ten days since I last smoked, soooo I am on the right track )))))
Lets Get This Right, What You Are Saying Here Is, If You Catch Your Kids Smoking, You Intend On "Disposing" Of Them.... I Don't Have Kids, But It Sounds A Bit Harsh To Me.... Cheers Glen.
Get a discount on your health insurance (assuming you have health insurance) Have nicer skin. Less chance of setting the joint on fire. I mean the home, not the other kind of joint. .
Your ashtrays can now fill with spare change instead Your lighters will last ALOT longer now When someone tries to bum a smoke you can tell them you dont have one and not be lying Your mom wont be able to smell cigs on you anymore - if you smoke pot this could actually be a drawback! you can put off exercising by telling yourself "I quit smoking, what more do they want?" It greatly reduces the risk of setting yourself on fire accidentally smokey cheddar wont taste quite so "smokey" now you can get back to chewing your nails
The best reason is that you will feel better and that your overall health will improve! Good for you for quitting and stick with it!
good luck on the drinking more part...thats been my downfall all 6 times that i've attempted to quit smoking! the two just go hand in hand, its nearly impossible for me to have a nice refreshing beer without a not so nice, completely unrefreshing cigarette. i'm on attempt number 7 now and i'm basically detoxing my whole body for the next month...no alcohol, no cigarettes, none of those prescription pills i like so much, only healthy food. so hopefully at the end of the month my body will be completely rewired and i can celebrate by drinking a nice autumn seasonal ale without craving a cigarette!
Keep trying and maybe this time it will just be the right time. I quit over 10 years ago and it took me five attempts to do it. I think the 5th time was just the right time. Good luck to you!
i get really pissed off when people try to get in my cars when smoking, Like its cool. Dont even fucking ask me if you can smoke in my cars!!!. then be like im the ignorant one cause I dont let you smoke in my car.. Listen numb nuts. I smoke and smoke and smoke, one thing i fucking dont do is smoke in my cars, I cant stand it!!! I dont want my cars smelling like that , I want my cars to smell new. my cars are old as dirt and they smell like they come off the assembly line. brand new!! I no kid, people ask me did I just get it detailed? No!! dont smoke in the car. and i really get mad someone puts the cigarette out yet still gets in my cars with smoke in their lungs. Wtf are you just plain stupid or what? people getting in my cars smelling like tobacco make me sick too... get some gum, or brush your teeth .. I dont like alcohol stinking fuckers either. once had this drunk in my car smelled like alcohol for hours!!! you dont like it buy your own fucking cars!!! or walk!! i dont care!!
what about the fact you are substantially decreasing the risk that you will get a shit load of different cancers and chronic diseases.
The best advice anyone can give you for quitting smoking is not to drink, preferably for three months. And when you do drink again, and do have a smoke, throw the pack out the next morning.
