I never kill spiders, ants, flies... Even centipedes, which I dread! If I find them inside I simply take them outside carefully so I won't hurt them.

But with mosquitos, fleas, etc., it's different. It's just that if I don't kill them they'll sting me. And boy, do they sting me! I must have top quality blood, cuz mosquitos sure seem to love it!

You'll kill many insects during your lifetime by just walking around, you better get used to it.

Don't have much of a garden this year, but anything I catch eating my plants is dead. Unless it is, say, a tomato hornworm that has already been parasitized by wasp larvae. Then they can go ahead and eat it from the inside out, saving the vital organs for last.

 

The apartment I'm living in right now is an old building built between 1860-1900. The inside is recently renovated (half assed job) but the outside still looks old as hell. Anyhow; there is a definite centipede infestation and I feel no remorse cutting those horrible fuckers in half with a knife and putting their remains into spider webs so the spiders can drain their fluids. If i caught them and brought them outside they would just find their way back in as there are just far too many in this place. Luckily I'm only there to the end of the month...gonna be a court case over this shithole as it's mouldy and much of handywork isn't up to code.

 

Ehh as long as they make sure to mention they where barefoot at the time, it will be glossed over

 

I already posted on the first page I don't like to kill even bugs, but recently there was a cricket in my new apartment. I kind of freaked because I didn't want to murder it, plus i'm a girly boy when it comes to bugs. I tried smacking it with a trash can, and ended up not being able to squash it. I'm like, "sorry man, you intruded into my house, and I'm too sickened-out to put you outside" so then I got my bat (big barrel) and started trying to hit it but THIS THING WAS A FIGHTER. He then maneuvered himself into my bathroom and then behind the door. I decided I couldn't reach him with a bat from behind the door so I closed my bathroom door. I then decided to play halo when right before the game starts, the cricket is mocking me and sitting outside of the bathroom door. It scared the bajeezus out of me. I finally got the bat and smack-smacked away. I'm a murderer too.

 

Scared by cricket? Really?? I'd try understand if you said "cockroach", but crickets are just too cute to be scary

who gives a fuck? i try to not kill animals also. this doesn't make me a great person though, it just makes me slightly more compassionate.

and yeah, try directing your positive actions toward humans too. it could help.

 

i just killed a spider...he was big though...i tend to let the little guys go...but i didnt want him jumping on me while i was in the shower
