I have family from Trieste, but it's really a long breeding history. They are hard to confirm with rumors of what people said they looked like. I only have a picture of my Grandma's brother, Trieste isn't very Italian....Croatian, something Slavic but hey people wondered around and fucked.

I dig. I used to have a penpal named Giorgio from Rome. He moved and I lost his new address, so we lost touch when I was in high school. :(
My grandma is from Naples. Her maiden name is Giantomasi. I have an Uncle Giovanni and an Uncle Nunzio. Sometimes I just sit back and think about that and smile. Even though I am only 1/4 Italian, I'm very proud of it. :p

Nice! I forgot to mention that my grandmother's father's name was Anthony... heard it too much to think of it, I suppose. ;)
Vito, I like that. Very cool.

and this is not even our main issue. i'd rather say that it's the common fatalistic-passive-individualistic and unconsciously conservative mindset that fucks us up. but to our partial discharge it must be said that hosting the catholic church in our territory is some heavy cultural conditioning. since the state-church agreement signed by mussolini (a fruit of the above mentioned condition, btw) our politics marched with the hand brake pulled up.
