I just read an article in the paper out here about i-tripping I believe it is also called Binaural Entrainment. It is essentially a stereo track with slightly different frequencies going to each ear. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this and if so what were the positive and negative effects both immidiate and over time. Peace Out, Rev J
That sounds like these CD's my mom gave me. There was a few of them for different purposes. She said you are supposed to listen to it 30min 2x per day for a few days. I only did it once and dint really have any effects, other then 30 min of meditation. A friend of my moms used the one called "powerful" after getting outa that hospital. Supposedly after 2 days she went from barley being able to get around the house to being able to walk around the park and sit on a bench for a while.
this is the same as idoser, that frickin thing that you'd occasionally see here on HF about "getting high on noise" or w/e. i've actually gotten into it for a while. did not get any "highness" from it. the only benefits i see are controlling your brainwave frequencies. brainwave entrainment can do many things for you. research the different brain wave frequencies cuz there are seriously hundreds of individual specific ones. this link shows them: http://www.lunarsight.com/freq.htm but more generally, each frequency bracket has its uses and how it affects you. you can listen to binaural beats or w/e your stimuli is at the frequency of Delta, the lowest most relaxed state, the brain learns to use less of it's central nervous system causing you to need less sleep. even research has shown that in a human with more delta waves can pick up more thoughts of another being by the little notations (body language and such). people think psychic people excel in the delta part of their brain. in the beta range, you're able to learn more, etc. research some of it, cuz during my period of trying it all out, i did a lot of delta and i can tell a difference. it was a small difference that was exactly like the description of it says, but it was there and i did it for like about a week. and listening to delta is very relaxing. i fell asleep during the "dose" many times and ya
Tried 'em both (binaural beats & idosing). Sampled a lot of different frequencies and patterns. Gotta say they didn't do much for me. Frankly, nothing even comes close to comparing to the actual thing . . . Effects over time? Could not say as i did not use these sites over time. Noticed no immediate effects. I've known about the idoser program for a long time now, and I have also had some good experiences with it. You need to listen to the files with big, bassy headphones, in a dark room, maybe lying down in bed... Also, I find listening to the idoser file corresponding to the drug you are actually on while listening to it really fucks you up. So yeah, I've noticed that binaural sounds DO alter your consciousness, but definitely not as much sober then high
Very cool stuff ZW, thanks for sharing. Dont have time for headphones till the weekend but will definitely check it out a little more thoroughly. Thanks
I just started digging around and read the Wiki article on this and tried their freebies and I just found this site: http://healingbeats.com/faq.html I plan on digging more into this. Peace Out, Rev J
Maybe I shouldn't have listened to the Crystal Meth track since now I have too much energy and a raging hardon (It's a joke). I started rethinking this experiment when I saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZcgUEkBIX0"]YouTube- Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Warning Parents About I-Dosing HOLY SHIT DEMONS IN THEIR IPODS I TOLD YOU MOTHERFUCKERS THAT MP3'S WERE FUCKING EVIL! Why do demons flock to the south like that? I think that they may be attracted to Baptist Churches. This to me is like a cross between the war on Marijuana and the subliminal messages on Judas Priest albums. The most disturbing thing I noticed about that clip was the absence of Medical Professionals in it talking about how "harmful" these tracks are. Maybe something good will come out of this. In the wise words of Dennis Leary "Marijuana doesn't lead to stronger drugs it leads to fucking carpentry." Think about it genious pot heads have been devising ways to get high in more efficient healthier ways for years. Maybe some i-tripping genious will come up with a better audio compression protocol than the MP3 thus moving digital audio ahead. Speaking of drugs I want to know what the 2 girls they interviewed in this piece were on. Are they really raising monotone brainless sheep in Oklahoma? How come we didn't see any interviews with any kids who actually tried it? How come they didn't interview any one that wasn't in law enforcement who had a clue what the fuck was going on? This whole piece was like a cross between Reefer Madness and an Urban Legend. Fuck this my alpha waves are through the roof right now. Peace Out, Rev J
