I'm getting my right nipple pierced tomorrow and i'm scared shitless. Is there anyone on this board that has it done that can share their experience with me? Would I be able to wear a bra? D: How long is the healing process?... i heard like 3 months? INFECTION? OH NO WAI. I AM NOT GETTING A NIPPLE INFECTION. What can i do to avoid getting one? Is it really considered a terribly slutty thing to do? Please ease some of my worries. Thanks. lol <3
I don't think it's slutty at all, but I am a college student =P I would research it more rather than diving into and make sure you know the risks. Particularly if you have sensitive nipples - I have heard of both loss of feeling and hyper-sensitivity coming from nipple piercing (and I have also heard of it making it feel better; I don't know the likelihood of these) PS - this thread is terribly sad, you're so beautiful, you don't need any modification
Not to sound like a total bitch, but it sounds like you're nowhere near ready for a nipple piercing. You should know the answers to all these questions and more (preferably explained thoroughly by your piercer) before you get it done. If your piercer can't answer these questions and more, find another piercer. But yes, there are risks involved for female nipple piercings, moreso than males for obvious reasons. I've heard the piercing described as a short but intense burning/stinging sensation as the needle passes through, and I've heard others describe it as "pleasantly" painful... pain tolerance is different for everyone so no one can tell you how it will feel for you. Be sure to get it pierced at an appropriate gauge size for your specific anatomy, as to avoid the "cheese-cutter" effect (ever seen an old lady's earlobes who has worn heavy dangly earrings her whole life? Yeah, you don't want that to happen to your nips). Lastly, fuck what anyone "considers" to be slutty or not. It's your body and if you want steel appendages thrust through your nipples, then by George, fuckin' do it Do a little more research and when you have come to a point where you're not scared shitless anymore and feel confident you will be able to heal them without issue, then go for it. i had mine done and let me tell you it hurt like a motherfucker!!!!!!!!!!i took them out the next morning.wasnt worth the pain to me.been about 6 years since i did it and my nips still hurt.make sure you want it and make sure you can deal with the pain during the lengthy healing process!!!if you like your nips bein pinched you may be able to handle it.
I think pierced nipples are nasty. Why on earth a tasty young girl would want to puncture her erogenous zones are beyond me. But if you feel you must 'improve' yourself, who am I to say. More than once have I been disappointed in seeing holes through my favorite body parts - but who am I to compete with fashionability?
i got both of mine done ! the first one i got done (the left one) was actually reaaalllyy reaalllyyy painful :-| .. and then when i got the right one done it didnt really hurt that much.. just kinda felt like a normal peircing if you look after it alright it wont get infected yeah it takes a while to heal, but that doesnt mean it will be sore for that amount of time!!! the day after i got my first one done i was gettin out of the shower, and i was kinda slidin through the door cause i didnt open it that much, and it got caught !! i could've cried!!!!!!!!! but you'll be fine! just make sure you go to a good piercer yeah you can wear a bra!!! its actually more comfortable than not wearing one.. if you don't wear one your boobs will like jiggle and move and stuff, and that will hurt for the first few days i wore a bra even to bed when i got mine done!!!!!! didn want it gettin caught in anything!!!! are you gettin a ring or a bar through it by the way?????? i think theyre worth the pain... theyre two of my favourite piercings
First and foremost make sure that you go to a reputable piercer. Forget the 25.00 piercings..You get what you pay for with piercings. Healing time for women is up to 1 year or more. No swapping of body fluids, no swimming ( lakes,pools,ocean or hot tubs), no nipple play until healed. The degree of pain depends on your pain tolerance..Always wash your hands before cleaning them..Do not use harsh soaps to clean them it can dry the skin out. Use a mild body wash. Do sea salt soaks several times a day. No not turn/move the jewelry. Practice LITHA (Leave it the hell alone) Speaking of jewelry make sure that you are happy with what will be used..It will be there until they are healed. Wearing a bra will probably be more comfortable than not. The nipples will be extremely sensitive for several weeks and even your clothing rubbing against them will be painful.Sports bras are good at night or a stretchy tank top..It might be a good thing to wait to get them until right after your menstrual cycle.Your breasts might not be as sensitive..Mid cycle and during your cycle hormones are raging usually making the breast tender. Nipple piercings are punctures. DO NOT use Bactine, antibiotic ointments,etc on them. If you keep them clean you should not have any infection worries. I have had mine for about 4 years. I love them. Is it a slutty idea?? Well I guess that depends on how you feel about yourself. Do the piercing because YOU want them and do not care what others think.. Sweet Noela, im getting my bridge tomorrow and thinking about doing my nipple as well since that's what i've wanted in the first place but i jog a bit. Tells how the experience goes, i wanna get my nipples done one these days.
