earlier this beautiful afternoon I got suspended from school for not wearing shoes. the fuzz called my grandma and she pitter-pattered in her usual pitter-patter way and when the one syllable "why" was placed before me, sweetly and simply, positive energy stored in the earth was my voice. it seemed like a pretty reasonable thing to say, along with the first amendment. totally lame ears because I was unheard and small. I dig the ideas of withdrawment that are floating around, but where after?...not sure where I belong anymore.
yihs is in wisconsin. the mother sun shines on me in florida. there are options, but they are in a honey jar that I cannot open. offer a little wisdom please

If they called an adult then you must be a minor.

Perhaps you could compromise and wear some footwear at school and not the rest of the time.

    Life is about compromise.

As I said life is about compromise.

If you think that requesting that you wear shoes at school is too restrictive, you are really going to have a difficult time in general.

You are in school for less than a total including travel of 10 hours a day, wear the shoes and the rest of the time don't.
