Hello people

I'm a new grower with 4 White Widows now in flower. I hope I can contribute to this forum, but I'm having trouble uploading and then posting pictures. I'll try to get it right soon. I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere. I like the forum setup, minus the crippled way we have to load pictures. Anyway, hope to see you all around and I'm sure I'll be learning a lot here. Laters

load your album with the pics and then you can just drag them when you pick ''go advanced''when you post...after you pick go advanced you have a choice at the top of the post box...choose albums and drag the pics to the box...easy peasy

It was my first grow. I was really excited when the White Widows peeked out at me.
I had to move them here after transplanting. It's an old shower stall in my basement. No worry about leaks there and fairly easy to manage for a while. But at the age pictured, they tended to invade my vents with odor and gave my whole house a pleasant, but very illegal odor. I had been under cfls until I got the two high-bay 400 watt mh lights from CL for 30 dollars each. They've done very good even though they could use a more modern reflector.

I got this mammoth free from craigslist. I converted it to a grow chamber which did good for a while, but as the plants continued to grow it became cramped and some of my leaves began to yellow. I went back to cfls for the grow box, which may be why it failed me. 5 plants would do good in that, maybe, but I had 9 at the time.



This is where I used to work. When my grow box failed due to high humidity and high heat, even though it had its own a/c vent, I had to strip out all of my stuff to convert it to a grow area. It took me about an hour to vacate the room and about half that to set up a temporary grow area, which is now permanent.

 

This is a picture of the grow area on day one.



This is how it looked two days ago. I've put up a reflector screen on this side of the plants, but it's otherwise about the same. The orange bucket in the middle is six clones I've started to replace the 4 White Widows. I had 9, but 5 proved to be male and were hashed.


I think I'll be building something very similar to this when I get the rest of my hydro gear. I still have one shipment coming to me, then I should get it up and running.


This is my favorite picture. The white widow is finally showing some white. The first grow has been one of trials and countless errors, but the end result is looking sweet to me. Can't wait to smoke that.

Well, you may have to have a few more posts before you can do that, I'm not sure. To edit it you click on "User CP" near the top left. It'll open a new window where you can select "edit signature" on the left hand side. If you can't yet that just means you need to post more first.

There's no edit signature, so you must be right about having to make more posts. Thanks again I'd give you rep for your help, but I don't have that option yet either.
