Hedonists Have Taken A Bad Rap

part of the point of taming feral cats is making them easy to handle

so that they can be taken to the vet, neutered, and vaccinated

 

I'd never heard of hedonism before, and when I looked at the FAQ, I won't lie, for some reason it left a bad taste in my mouth. But I thought about it, and I suppose there are two ends of the spectrum in every religion/philosophy. And honestly, every single human being seeks pleasure in some form, so we're all sort of hedonistic, in a way. xP

 

to the first page third comment, what is nothingness? hmmm?

 

hahaha04, If one seeks nothingness, they are seeking something. If it wasn't something, you couldn't seek it.

What makes that hedonistic? What's the difference between that and anyone else?

 

hedonists take no bad rap

 

when one disregards the causing of harm, a bad rap is earned.

obviously not all hedonists do.
nor are the followers of dominant beliefs all that good at not doing so either.

the kind of world we have to live in, is where much of what we experience comes from.

for this reason it is just as vitally important to the individual self, as to any supposedly higher ideal, to avoid screwing it up and making it worse.
