Circumcision could Become mandatory

I can't see circumcision becoming mandatory TBH. Rights groups would kick up a huge stink, and rightly so.

IMO it's a barbaric tradition, and I'm glad that it's not nearly as prevalent over here.

How hard is it to just pull the foreskin back an clean the glans when you clean the rest of your body?
(Then again, I have (partial) phimosis, which does make it more annoying. Still, I don't think much to the idea of lopping bits off).

If you ask people who got circumcised after being sexually active (they do exist), they'll inevitably tell you that there's a very noticeable loss in sensation, which makes sense, seeing as you're chopping off an awful lot of nerve endings.

Then there's the stuff about lubrication, protection of the glans, and so forth, but that's been covered already.

You should not worry, I realize that in the US it's not common to be un-circumcised... but it's far more common in the UK.

Until 6-8 it's actually attached and cant really be retracted... so there's no issue... after that they'll learn to masturbate around 9-10 and so when you tell them at around 11 to pull their foreskin back and clean underneath they will a) probably already be doing it and b) know exactly what you mean so you won't have to say it twice. Really.

Also, seriously... you could just tell them to do it at 9-10 when you explain masturbation because they'll either learn that from you or their school friends by 11.

Finally, I'm almost amused that people are worried about kids getting some infection from not cleaning under forskin properly... if this was really a danger then we would have evolved without one, and/or it would be a problem for animals which it isnt.
