Made it to the new water park!

Today the kids and I went to the new water park that opened here this spring. It is going to be the largest in Canada when they complete the 2nd phase this fall and spring.

We had a beautiful day weather wise and a whole lot of fun playing!! Life is good when something so simple can make everyone smile!

I shall take that.

I think next year I am going to get them season passes as after going I know they will get used!

I hate the disclaimer though "Safety: Under 1.22 meter tall must wear a life jacket and be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for pregnant women and people with heart conditions or back problems."

Agree It is nice to kick back for a day and watch the world go by while playing in water.

 

That one was a riot and the Turbo one was great. We went on those more than once. Our stomachs thanked us.

I think the legalities kick in with the rules.

I saw a lot of kids wearing these which are life jackets built into swim wear. They had just started to bring these out when my guys were little and now they are so much nicer.

 

I only saw two show offs who obviously were making a statement.

Looks like a nice park. 20 minutes from Ottawa.

These parks are good for staying fit. Try going up the stairs for a 20 to 30 m high slide a couple dozen times.

I won't be going to that water park, but I will be at a water park in Ontario Thurs & Fri. The indoor one that is part of a lovely lodge.

I have a 48 hour reservation on the Lazy River. lol
Not really, I will attempt some of the other rides as well.

As far as making a statement. Yes I will be making one-The Big Belly's are ok statement.

They sure do make you fit. A fun fit though so no one minds how much they are tromping about.

It is about 20 minutes from Ottawa and about the same from me. I am about 40 minutes east of Ottawa. It is South East of me.

I know we will use it far more next year as there is already babble about a membership.

I think most people just like them as you get to be goofy like a big kid and no one gives you a look that says grow up.
