I have found that I have stopped believing in the story and the message of my book. I can't carry on with it. So that's that, and I've been working on it for about 6 months and working really hard at it. I guess I just have to salvage what I can and start again. Blessings Sebbi
Take some time of, you may just be in overload. Even if you aren't 100% behind the message you could probably finish it and have ot be something worth reading. Otherwise you might risk a pattern of not finishing.
Cheers, I'll give that some thought. At least I've learned a lot from writing it, so I'm not worried about it going to waste. Thanks Veinglory, it means a heck-of-a-lot telling me not to give up. I don't want to give up, just give up on this particular project. Still I'll give it some thought and see whether I want to continue or not. Blessings Sebbi
Maybe you should leave it for a month, work on something else, then go back to it, otherwise your writing might become stale.
I often swap between a few different projects to give my self time away from a piece I have just got royally sick of. I have only finished two books and there were times I hated both of them... and that was before the editors demanded a whole lot of changes and rewriting!
