Been making it with damaged/shade leaf collected over the past few weeks. Got about half a gram, for the state of the leaf I used it turned out really nice. Put an end to any plans I had for the day though Only used a few ounces of leaves but in the coming weeks theres going to be the leaf from over 40 plants put into a batch This season is going to be savage :sifone:
Butane sprayed through a foot long steel tube and then on the other end a piece of cheese cloth as a filter. Into a pyrex dish and then sat in a dish of warm water. After that it was put in the oven on 90 for a few minutes and then into the freezer to make it easier to scrape up. To get the very last bit I put it in the oven again and scraped up the oil with a skin.
Should we assume everyone who reads this will be with it enough to know you probably mean Celsius? Nah, most of 'em are on drugs.
you are NOT supposed to use steel,,it can spark and kill you...also....some people pour the liquid butane into a bowl of warm water...the butane vaps and a film of oil is floating on the water..get a pin and you can twirl EVERY LAST DROP onto the pin...the water will drip off.... its good for tiny amounts...i personally dont use the warm water method..i just toss the bowl into my juniors room and watch his friends scrape it haha,,keeps them out of trouble for hours remember butane is one of the cleanest gasses available and has a boiling point of half a degree c so the chances of it ever making its way to your lungs is minimal
Not too sure if it is steel to be honest, theres a good chance it might just be aluminium but Ill check that next time anyway, nice one for the heads up. Thats handy to know about the warm water method, my dad wants me to make a small bit for him but doesnt have much leaf at the moment so that will probably come in handy :cheers2: Yeah thats one of the reasons I chose butane, also because its the cheapest and most easily aquired chemical to use for me.
We're all on the same time, man, unless you're real high, then 20 minutes can be like six hours... Except for us barbarians in the States, everyone is on the same 90 degrees.
Nice technique, will have to remember that. I think copper is supposed to be the preferred material to use for the tube. I have heard of people using PVC as well.

each day that no one steals my girls is excruciating as I count down to the chop...;ast year 2 days before a scheduled chop my girls were stolen...this year...keep your fingers crossed
