i always wondered and questioned is the fear of death caused by not accomplishing what ever you are looking for ???? whether it would be fame or money ??? does this make sense ??
It's different for everybody who fears it. Many fear the unknown/uncertainty, others fear going to hell or even heaven/eternity, some fear nothingness, etc.
I fear the idea that my vital organs will stop, i'll be hit by a passing vehicle or maybe or maybe i'll drown in a lake filled with boobies but i'm sure fame or money could kill me too, i've always heard that dropping a penny coin from a skyscraper could kill a man- imagine that landing on your head. Death. By. Money.
is this fear psychologically drilled in our heads to make use believe there is something to look foward 2
let's crunch these numbers... a falling object accelerates at at 9.8 meters per second squared.. how tall is the skyscraper
From personal experience and doing peer counseling, the fear generally is in how people are going to die. Not if. The exact how is never known and only an educated guess. The fear of pain is what most people voice.
I only have fears of snakes and electricity. I would fear death only if it involved a snakebite or a shock.
I always wondered why are people so preoccupied with where they will be when they die I find myself wondering more and more about where I was before I was conceived
I just don't want to die before a few people. They are older than me and i know what would happen to myself if i suddenly disappear. Other than that what happens happens. When your dead everything what you know and love wont matter. For that im not scared. Im not going to hell cause I don't believe in that bullshit. If anything it will be better than on this planet. Or it will be nothing and won't matter anyways.
The fear of death is ingrained within us all. The only way to overcome the fear is to suffer enough pain and hardship that death seems like a welcome relief Hotwater
