I was messing around with a calendar figuring out when the Fairfield Ct. car show is (the 11th for those who care) and realized that today is day 180 for me being always barefoot and owning no shoes at all (ok they got tossed into the attic but close enuf). If November is like last year and I can get through the whole month, that will extend my record and maybe I'll celebrate with a pair of soft soled mocs for the winter.
I've only been tossed out of 2 places this summer which is 2 more than last year. Well I did get hassled in an Amtrack bar car last year. But going to jail barefoot would be a new experience worth trying I guess.
Maybe cause its cool in the mornings.....65 to 68 with dew on the lawns...when I go out to do anything I am again more concious of being barefoot, knowing there's no choice cause there are no shoes to wear, I am again getting excited about knowing I'm spending my day that way. Driving somewhere I still get that...o yeah I'm barefoot and thats all there is to it feeling. Soles are so tough (even instep) that when I do pick up a sliver it can't penetrate very far and the soles are permanently dirty. Living barefoot is so nice.
