Ok so a week or two back I was kicking it with some acquaintances and one of the guys I don't really know is supposedly big time. So I asked if he knew where to procure some DMT. He said we could go to Wal-Mart right now and get something OTC that has DMT in it. I told him I was talking about the stuff you smoke and trip on for about 8 minutes and he was saying something about a few hours. Also would not reveal the product for whatever stupid reason, and another person present was saying he knew what he was talking about. I think he thought I meant DXM...

There is nothing OTC with DMT in it. Many migraine drugs (imitrex) would be considered schedule I if one applied the 1986 Analogue (designer drug) act rigidly. They are DMT molecules with just a couple little tweaks or additions.

But, you won't get a DMT trip out of them and it would be crazy-ass foolish to buy a bunch to try to go back to DMT.

You want DMT OTC, you can almost get it, but you must work for it. The Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark (MHRB) is the one ingredient you will not be able to find in a brick and mortar store . . .But, things like naptha, scales, coffee filters, vinegar, pyrex dishes, acetone, fans, even NaOH (lye) and Heptane (Bestine) are easy/legal to purchase over the counter, once one locates a vendor.

There are a number of things you can do re: online ordering. Here are a couple:

1.) Never order more than 8-10 lbs max at a time from a single vendor. Never return to that same vendor within the same couple of years.

2.) Learn how to make decorative soaps (or some other craft or activity with a "legitimate" need for lye) at home using lye. Make a couple of decorative soaps at home and display them. Give decorative, homemade soaps to friends and family as holiday gifts. . . . Keep your lye stored openly with the other soap making materials and manuals . . .

Here are two of the best vendors:

You could just keep it around as a drain cleaner; it is the active (and in some cases, only) ingredient in many high strength drain cleaners.

Plus, you don't need to learn how to make soap :)

Sure, you can "keep it as drain cleaner," just please make sure it's Food Grade, okay? Don't just go out and buy drano . . .

Well, of course you don't just grab the lye that isn't pure lye, you get the pure lye, because, well, its pure, and, um, it has lye in it. :D

Seriously though, Spiceycat is right, it needs to be pure.
