if not cutting, what's the best way to set it on a path towards merging in with the rest of the dread?
If it's got the will to live it will sort itself out. Try not to play with it. Don't rip the hairs/dreads if they try to shag it.
I'd try to guide it to stay in the right spot first....actually I wouldn't cut it at all. Dreads aren't supposed to be completly manicured.
