Ok I haven't posted on this board since the last time it moved... but the Weed Cigs thread got me thinking. So basically doing the process (taken from this link) described below makes Hash Oil?

But instead of mixing the green (thc) solution in with processed tobacco mix it back in with the rest of your weed. So would this "super charge" the weed?

Also APinkBunnyRabbit in the Weed cigs? Will this Work? thread said :
What he said got me thinking about how would that concoction do if toked using a vaporizor? So basically would "super charging" the weed and then toking it using a vaporizor give you the "uber" buzz or would the vaporizor's already efficient method of extracting THC null the effects of soaking weed in the hash oil?

    Just a thought...

i'ld say don't bother. the isopropyl extraction is nowhere near 100% efficiency, so imho it would be a waste of good weed. now if you have nasty harsh tasting stuff, then go for it.

Why didn't anyone say that on the "Weed cigs" thread?

If it isn't efficient, what would be a good way to extract it?

the stronger the solvent, the more efficient the extraction, naptha, ether, acetone, butane, among others are better solvents than isopropyl. If i HAD to do an extraction, methanol would be my perferred solvent, though i'ld really rather not do any extraction at all, as no extraction is 100% efficient. Especially because the stronger the solvent the more unwanted crud (ie chlorophyl, waxes excetera) you will extract as well, and then you would need to do chromotography or polar/nonploar extraction to get rid of the waxes and stuff. More trouble than it is worth I say.
