my dad may have been the root of "as balls" prove me wrong

he made this claim for years him and his frat buddies " invented as balls" i laughed it off untill one day me and my friends told him he was full of shit so he goes done to the basement and emerges with a letter from his friend dated 1976 in refrence to the news about my parents relation ship this friend used " as balls" dad said simply find a refrence to "as balls "before 1976 and im wrong ......ps the original phraise was " as ball sweat going down shortend to just as balls and no my dads not a dumb ass redneck or anythiing hes feautered in the magizene super lawyers...id really like to know if he is wrong right or somthing inbetween any help i thank you for
