Everything has value someway or another. If the dollar didn't exist something else would come into play. The dollar has been abused, thus the system is on the verge of collapse.

Even if we didn't have money everyone would still barter. Then here comes another from of money. It seems inevitable.

Food, water, air, and shelter are intrinsically valuable.

Gold has value because people believe in its value - and it is a more sure bet than paper currency because nobody can greatly increase a relatively limited supply (which limits inflation).

But that value isn't intrinsic - when people are starving, nobody would traded their last bag of rice for all the gold in the world. Nobody needs gold.

our brain is bigger than a mountain goat's. we can think abstractly. it's not why we NEED money, but it's why we have money i guess.

We have money because someone in the first place thought abstractly and decided they could tell others that this stuff was worth something. Before that it was just a shiny rock.

Those people thought like you (I mean no offense, you just see this more practically) and they thought, "well, if I have that then like he said, I can have other things. Things I can't have without that rock."

    And thus currency was born.

It's just an example. Someone gave a shiny rock value by calling it "gold". Thus it became something to barter with.

"I'll give you two shiny rocks for that bag of potatos"

no we have money because we think abstractly.. mountain goats dont have money coz they don't think abstractly.

money is not inherently bad. you can live with it or you can live without it. those that cast it in a bad light, and still live with it are the ones that will be royally fucked if and when the shit hits the fan unless they educate themselves on how to remain secure through bad economic times or are able to live self sufficiently.

Obviously we would get 3 paragraphs about it, but I do believe it would eventually boil down to that. He might even avoid the word "Jew" and rattle off a bunch of Jewish names instead.

Ok, I might be being cynical, but I'll stick with it till somebody finds a similar thread with his thoughts on the matter.

He was spotted getting a new job due to his company supposedly forcing him to have the flu vaccine. The new job was perpetual nights. He stopped posting where he was posting. I know of only one other place he might be, but I can not be bothered to look. I assume he is drinking some beer somewhere.
