Ever notice how women's appearance can be almost 100% false?

It still sounds like an insecurity, like that person has trouble screwing someone because their unconfortable with themselves. Plastic surgery is entirely physical whether it's for yourself or everyone else it's still an insecurity. There aren't tons of reasons why people get plastic surgery.... There may be tons of emotional ties to why they do it but essentially it all comes down to the same thing. The person doesn't like what they have so they change it. And if they don't change it they're insecure about it....or they can come to terms with themselves and love themselves. I still don't think judgement should be passed on someone who has had plastic surgery or is going to get it. I just think it's really naive to believe that it's more then just vanity. There are certian circumstances where someone is born with deformities and they want plastic surgery...but it's still plastic surgery! And it's because they're insecure too. No judgement.

I disagree entirely, but I can only speak from the perspective of having lived through it. Wanting life to be as easy as possible is not vanity. If I were insecure, it would bother me that I have significant scarring all over my torso. It doesn't really matter. It takes three seconds to say, "I had a couple surgeries, one to remove that mass and one cosmetic procedure." I'm not embarrassed or ashamed, but who the hell wants to go through life constantly explaining themselves and the state of their bodies?

We're limited by the scope of our experiences. Saying there is only one reason to have cosmetic surgery is no different than saying there's only one reason someone has an abortion, because they want to kill a baby.

    Agreed.

Girls wouldn't look all fake like that if guys didn't like it. I am 100% sure that if I got a boob job and a fake tan, ect, then I would get WAY more attention from men. Luckily for me I don't care whether I do or not.

And if you don't like 'fake' girls don't hang around those kinds of girls. We are all attracted to different things so just concentrate on what you find attractive and stop worrying about the rest.

Maybe Gravity is looking for a naturally tanned, blonde with thick hair and all the other things on the list, but he wants her to be natually that way so nothing falls off in the shower...:D

That is just a dream. Like unicorns and fairies.

Too many guys want to screw this type of woman, but they shoud really sign a waiver that says they would never want one for anything else. Otherwise some women will continue to think they have to keep doing this crap to themselves.

Absolutely. We all like different things, and if you don't like the 'fake' look, then you are probably not going to be chasing those kind of girls. So what's the problem!

The problem may be a statistical mathematical equation based on the inconsistency of time some guys have spent falsely perceiving how women are, in comparison to the time they've spent viewing them horizontally. It is said that males are better at math and herein is where the problem lies. When the complete lack of statistical information on the habits of women when in a horizontal position does not equal the number of hours spent scrutinizing and judging women at shopping malls, the male brain tends to make up for the lack of information by coming up with very juvenile, erroneous information to fill in the gaps.

So, we can clearly see that it is a matter of imbalance.

Someone told me the other day that natural blondes are dying out because men actually prefer the fake blonde look these days. I dont know if theres any truth to this but I can believe it.

Yeah, like men don't do this too. Right.

And wtf?!? Seriously, you dare compain about this? Let me guess, you are a hetero guy? Just a guess. But, regardless, we get bitched at by guys for daring to try to improve our appearance, using fake or natural means and we get addressed as ANIMALS if we choose to go au natural (Dog, Pig, Cow, Goose, etc.) FRAK YOU - all of you guys and gals who help to perpetuate this over time!

If people could just drop the cultural BULLSHIT we could quit the game playing. You fell in love with a smile, with eyes, with a cock, with tits, with a bank account, with a car, with a drug stash? You are a fucking fool. ALL of that changes, sags and ROTS and a hell of a lot sooner than you think it can. You need to find ESSENCE, a soul, a mind to fall in love with. Then none of this will matter and you will no longer ask these questions that piss me the fuck off.

    Thanks.

I like how everyone is different, it would suck if we were all zombie clones. The thing that does suck is the people that want everyone to be the same and complain when someone does jump out side of the box and does something different.. oh the huge manatee indeed!

    Yep...

The thing is that most folks aren't ready to hear that until time forces them to by telling the same thing in its own special way. Then they will have the time to pause and contemplate all the resources in pursuit of something so fleeting- so finite, and in the big picture (best viewed in hindsight) so incredibly insignificant.

I wonder how anyone can ask the question, why? when every day we are bombarded with things telling us we aren't good enough, and that we can be better, hotter, sexier, richer, thinner, if only we do this, eat that, wear this, etc. it's a poison society we live in and most people eat it up. It's become so normalised that people look down on those who don't conform. It's all get ahead and do your best to be better than others for that is a measure of your achievement. Put others down and you'll feel better about yourself. And nothing we are comparing ourselves to is actually real!! These images are so digitally altered it's ridonkulous, and like 99% of people in hollywood have had some kind of surgery. You don't need to ask why people get fake tits and all that, everyone has felt inadequate at some point. I just hope I never care enough to think I need to change myself.

I don't really think it was an accident, just that she had sooo many plastic surgeries and it's bound to look mangled. She wanted to look feline like her cats.

Twilight Zone did an episode on just what you are talking about. Decades in the future all people got plastic surgery to attain an appearance that was considered by society to be beautiful and where everyone looked like everyone else.

There was a young women with hippie-type values in the episode who defied the society and wanted to maintain her individuality. She said, "I'm not beautiful, but I'm not ugly either." She was the last holdout. Eventually, even she gave in and got the surgery. The last line of the episode was when she said, "And best of all, I look just like everyone else!"

While many of the people who promote these ideas are self-serving hypocrites who are only interested in lining their own pockets; they’re unwitting participants in a program to improve the human race.

Thanks for pointing that out. It does change the context. I'm not sure why that bothered you enough to leave though.
