I want dreads

Hey everyone. Im growing my hair out cause i wont 2 get dreads. Im a white, straighthaired chick. Do u think people such as africans might get affended? Because i understand the history there. And also, i get hot easy and normaly tie my hair back, do u think ill find them really annoying? lol thank you. Dreads are beautiful

Yes, they'll get so offended they'll knife you. Don't get dreads unless you value your life.

If you tie your hair back, it'lll pull on your scalp and cause bald patches.

Generally, I think, there will always be one person, African or not, that will moan.
I think if they look natural they work on most people...

dont worry about it BornHippy..just grow your hair the way you want and things will be just fine..i'm black with locks and i love to see all types of people with them..i remember the first time i saw an asian with locks i was in seattle and all i thought was ..thats really cool..

 

Thanx man, i got a book called dreads and a few rastas sounded like they only thought rastas should have them and it made me feel bit bad i guess. But yea people get dreads for different reasons and i have a few of my own mostly i just embraceing my true self and iv never liked my hair straight and i cant belive i didnt think of this sooner..
