if we 'young hippies' are the future.. i figured we would be talking about more important issues and sharing ideas about bigger things. isn't that what hippies are supposed to do (other than smoke pot and pick flowers and love everything)?

i'm already embarrased to be a teenager in society today..what with this bullshit like TRL and those shitty movies and hillary duff and shit. i thought the hippy teenagers would be more motivated and discuss things that are worth discussing..

whats the point of being able to talk to people on the other side of the world if all we're doing is discussing bullshit that we can talk about with people closer to us?



i dont know.. i guess i'm unimpressed. i feel like this is becoming another one of those pointless forums that discuss really lame things and fight with one another.. in other words, almost a complete waste of space on the internet..

(you wanna see what i'm worried this will become? go to pahardcore.com and check out the boards.. its just a bunch of kids/35 year olds with too much alcohol and nothing to do, cussing eachother out nonstop to see who's got the better insult..)

this young hippies forum has so much potential to be a great community of teenagers with the same interests discussing the greater potential of our world and i feel like we're throwing it all away before it even really gets started..

I've realized that nobody is ever happy with the state of Young Hippies. (Except maybe George... I can't really tell ). There's always complaints, no matter what. We're just generally disliked.

So I just post whatever I feel like. Don't like it? Don't read it.

 

this thread really made me kind of sad when i read it.

she made a very intelligent post with really good points, and then her post doesn't get read because she is 15? the sad part is that you are older and don't even have the patience to listen to what she has to say.

i'm not saying this forum should be simply about politics and serious issues, other things should be discussed but we just don't seem to listen and care about each other.
