we had this discussion in my asian civics class about communism/capitalism and the teacher asked what type of government we thought was ideal and why...

i didnt really answer because i was buzzed.. and there really was no good reply from any of the kids in that class and i was just wondering what you guys thought was the ideal form of government.. not necessarily communism or capitalism.

Well, heh, we surely don't live in a true democracy...

And I'm not sure if any government can refrain from becoming corrupt. After all, isn't corruption part of human nature?

although that is quite pessimistic, i have to agree.
corruption is in our nature, but i do not accept that human beings are naturally evil creatures. the amount of corruption in our world today is truly evil, and it's a few people that are really messing up the planet and a lot are suffering. it is then when it is time for the people to stand up for what is right, and not just play along.

yeah. human nature is gonna fuck up any chance of having a perfect government basically.. if the world was perfect than i think anarchy would be the best solution.. i can't really say what i think is the best because nothing works with human nature.

aahh.. us hippies. dreaming about perfect worlds where humans arent chauvinistic, territorial douche bags.. :)

hippie? That term is so politically incorrect. The correct version would be "flowerchild"

    so yeah
i think the end product of communism is anarchy.
    i mean
    everyone is the government
    and at the same time
there is no government! no one is above anyone else.. the world is perfect.
    yay.. happy.. yay..

If humans were perfect, there would be no need for government. However, humans are flawed, so government is necessary.

Actually, did you know that it is animal instinct to live in a democratic society? Scientists have studied animals and have found that they innately conform to a democratic way of life.

you wouldn't? of course it will never work i already know that, but what makes anarchists interesting to me is how they won't let go of they're dream. they know that there can never be a society in our day in age where the people can govern themselves, but just imagine if we could... kind of like the song imagine. haha

    i didnt know that.
    good to know..

i would love to live in an anarchy.
i think its pathetic on our part that we can't coexist without taking over or harming one another..

    sad and imperfect.
    ah well..
nothing i can do about that.

    lets all go smoke pot.
