When I was younger it was totally awesome, probably because I was a kid in a big city. Now that I've returned I really think it needs to be leveled out with bombs again and built over. It's disgusting. I think I'll stay in Munich. -.-
Rename it Baghdad and go on a campaign of saying the name along with '9/11' in the same breath again and again. Chances are good it will get leveled and rebuilt at the expense of the American tax payer. .
The germans will never be content to remain a second class power as long as the powers-that-be still hold-fast to their belief in aryan superiority. They will see to it that germany rises again and ‘the brotherhood of death’ will fly it’s banners once again over berlin Hotwater
I went there recently. I've been there twice and each time I have been a little disappointed. I have always had a good time, but that's because the nightlife kept it going in terms of general attractions there wasn't too much to do. It actually reminds me of a less interesting version of my own city.
Yesterday was a little better.. But I'm not going out today because it's raining and I'm majorly sick. But good, I don't care, I'm stating a Hitler. Everything I hate about Germany is Berlin. Leipzig tomorrow thank god.
I flew into germany in 05 didn't get to see much which was fine by me. I saw austria, and talk about beautiful. I could ski and board there every winter!!
berlin is filled with old wankers and young jerkoffs. and christians. everywhere. slight difference. full understanding. stay in munich arty:
And gypsies and homos too. Even though I'm a lesbian, still, it's kinda fucked up whenever you see a guy and immediately assume he has to be gay. XD I saw two skinhead punks holding hands in an old bombed out church. Shit just didn't look right.
I can mentally see those two right nutcases before eyes, as one of them admires the bombed cathedral and says "Oh Friedrich, what severed hellenic genius abounds on German soil" To which the other replies "I beg your pardon, Reinhold? Better you remove your tongue from inside my ear, so that I can hear you better."
Berlin is so so, not the best European city I have been to, but I might go back someday. But the thing I loved about the city is how cheap it is, compared to other Euro capitals around, such as Paris, London, Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm. Boy was Berlin more reasonable with prices! Plus I remember getting lots of awesome Turkish kebabs and finding graffiti in old abandoned buildings. Berlin is an artistic city, great underground Arts culture if you look hard enough.
