I'm trying to find more info on brewing some Ayahuasca such as sources of the B.caapi vine and P.viridis(or are they illegal in the U.S.) Also proper amounts of each to use in the brew and proper dosage. Thanks

Try erowid for info and IAMSHAMAN.com for products.

In my personal experience though the mhrb and syrian rue achieves the best results.. Just my opinion

The plants are legal in the USA. There are many good online sources such as the one above. Just do a google search on Ayahuasca recipes and you'll get a lot of options. There's a lot of different thinking about dosing, whether or not to try to remove tannins, which "ayahuasca analogue" plants to use (again, see above) . . .

Frequently, it takes a number of attempts before the person finds their right "brew," so even with a trusted recipe you may still need to do some experimenting to find what's right for you . . .

there is a particular way to prepare the b. caapi vine and viridis to maximize the effects. You have to really know what you are doing to be successful brewing and drinking aya. I would try and see if you can find someone in person who has done it before to show you the way.

Everything you want to know about how to make Ayahuasca can be found here:

    http://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/aya_01.htm

Wikipedia: "In the United States, caapi is not specifically regulated."

I'm not sure about the dosage/amount used in the extraction for the plants you're using, but the link I provided has information on other plants. They are pretty cheap and easy to find online.
