Ok, smartasses. Technically, that wouldn't be vegetarian because it's from an animal source :p

But seriously, tofu, seitan, beans, legumes, nuts... all those faux meat products are high in protein but should be used sparingly as they are highly processed. There are also protein powders to make shakes, they come in soy, rice, almond, hemp, the list goes on.

I don't do dairy or condone the use of it, so I don't know the actual protein content, but milks and yogurts in moderation could be another source.

Stop being a grump. Low protein levels do effect a persons mood, so you're forgiven

there is protein in nearly everything that was once alive

the trick is getting the right balance of proteins

basically as long as you eat enough grains and legumes, you should be okay

rice and beans is kinda perfect, you know, add a steamed dark green veg for vitamins and a touch of calcium, maybe some tahini, mmm . . .

Hey smartass, vegetarian means you eat animal bi-products (milk, eggs)
VEGAN is completly animal free, animal bi product free.

Quinoa (keen-wa) is gluten free and an excellent source of complete chains of protein.

It's absolutely delicious, but it can be kinda pricey.
