Hi, everyone. My name is Cecilie, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (but I'm originally from Vancouver, BC), I'm 21 years old, and I'm a happily - and recently - married lesbian. I'm into all kinds of stuff like music, art, movies, books, fashion, friends, writing, science... I'm interested in almost everything! I've never been good at introduction threads, but I think that's pretty common for a lot of people. It's intimidating! Nonetheless, I always try to make an effort at being honest and straightforward in the hopes of making a good impression. (At least, as good as can be made over the internet) Hopefully everyone here really is as nice as they seem. I've been lurking around a little bit and these boards seem like just the place I've been looking for: Somewhere I can be myself and relax a little bit without worrying too much about judgement or intolerance. It's surprising to me still how, in such a 'modern' and 'forward thinking' society, women like me and my wife are treated as strange or 'wrong' or subversive in some way. :icon_bs: That being said, I'm very happy with my life and who I am. I love being out of the closet, being married, and am looking forward to having kid(s) down the road. Please say hi. I'd love to get to know you!
hi welcome to hipforums i think you will like most people on here. i agree, i wish the world was like the people on hip forums. not being judged all the time.
Being judged is never fun (unless you win a ribbon of some kind), but it is a part of real life. Something we all have to deal with. I think it helps people connect with others too; When you have something in common - even if it is something unfortunate. That being said, I think that having a haven from such things is equally important. Thanks for the welcomes (and the congratulations).
Hello there & Welcome to the forums. Glad you found us. Please come down to the games thread and crack some jokes with us. Have fun. Peaceful thoughts your way.... Farmout
Hi welcome to here ..I stopped in Toronto once and did the CN thing...paid extra to get on the highest part ..the Molson Indy was on at the time but I didnt make it there to see
Thank you. You made me think of my brother there, for a moment. He always says "howdy" for some reason. The view from the CN Tower is pretty cool. Lots of people here like to think of it as the best view in the city, because it's the only place in TO from which you cannot see the CN Tower.
