    i'm 16, but i dig music from the '60s so much more than anything i've grown up with.

    1) she got to be with Bob Dylan, sooo jealous <3 <3 <3
    2) her voice is beautiful
    3) her songs are emotional and hypnotizing
    4) she was an activist
    5) she sang a lot of protest songs
    6) she's just such a strong, brave, admirable woman

    She was also very much a political activist. She joined in with MLK and has always been involved in civil rights.
