Hi all. Was wondering if anyone is familiar with Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado especially when at GD shows? We're planning on going to Furthur performances there this weekend. We don't have tickets but will enjoy what we can from outside. Anyways , my concern is the parking for the 3 nights. We're traveling the country in a minischoolbus rv conversion(sort of) and want to hang out for all 3 shows. Is anyone familiar with Red Rock's policies on the parking lots, etc? Thanks ahead for any knowledge.

You're not allowed to camp in the parking lots overnight but there is a campground pretty close. Although for a show like this it may already be full, but it's getting pretty cold outside at night so maybe not.

Does the campsite have a specific name? We're camping right now in free campsites in the mountains outside of Nederland. You're right about it getting cold. There was actually snow on the mountain caps this morning!

I've heard from an old-head that you haven't been able to camp in ANY dead lot since 1989.

Gotta find off lot camping. Just ask someone when you get there. Most legit places have been booked full of reservations since the tour was announced.

Raged on lot for the whole three days, they let people camp on site as long as it was an rv or a bus!
We camped right down the road from lot at a cool little pull off though.
Furthur was great, definately down for fall tour!
anybody else headin out for fall tour?
