Hey all, I just signed up on this website because I find myself bored, dry, and not high with all my friends have fled for college. I may go that route in the next year, but until then I am stuck in my boring home town with few friends. I am looking to make friends of all kind, but in the end I prefer social interaction face to face with someone in the same room. So, do any of you have any suggestions of where to go to meet open minded people that support the counter culture, and enjoy deep conversations while sharing a bowl, or a blunt, or a scoobie, doobie doobie, I would really appreciate the advice.
Well starting a conversation on the Hippie movement saying it was a CIA conspiracy won't win friends or influence people in these circles. Since the sarcasm button doesn't work on this site I will point out that was half sarcasm. Any way I don't know anything about where you live but I grew up near a small college town (that strangely enough also had a Navy Base) in Maine. Granted now I live in a small college town in California. The thing is about these communities is that there is usually at least one Head Shop, Independent Record Store, Independent Book Store, and Coffee Shop where you can find many of the people you seek. Just go get your coffee, pick up a book etc. and let it all hang out (I'm not suggesting exposing yourself just be seen). Peace Out, Rev J
