23 male in the southeast looking for: supportive and nice friends, buddies for games or chatting, people to meetup with and have fun with. fuck off: people who hurt animals, people who want a meaningless or shallow relationship with me. im just here to make some new friends basicly. i dont like to just pass the time in a chatroom spewing meaningless crap. im coming here for meaningful friendships. i hate to sound so overbearing but im sorry. i am engaged, im not looking for romance or sex. i am stuck in a place that i hate right now... (a very hot and busy city) it is hell here for me but i stick it out everyday to try to get to me and my fiancee's goals. we want to go north in the cool air and buy some land in the forest and build a house and raise kids. we want to smith knives and paint. im going to have a metalworking shop at my house too. we love animals and we love the northern forests. if we had it our way we would be spending most of our time out in the forest fishing and hunting camping and living out there. we have studied lots of survival and wilderness living skills for years and have lived in the woods/street for a few years. i guess we have become pretty knowledgable from all of this. were just taking it day by day right now... going to school... anyone who is interested in starting a friendship with me, id love to hear from you. cya around the forum..
I'm guessing by 'hurting' animals, you must mean abusing them (since you don't seem to have a problem with fishing or hunting). I imagine you also wouldn't do those things for sport. That's all right by me. Welcome to the forums. I'm new also, so hopefully we'll both find what we're looking for here.
youre exactly right. i kill to eat and i eat what i kill... i always try to fight the meat industry because a clean lung shot (drop dead) is much better than sitting in line watching your friends getting their throat cut and take 5 minutes to bleed out or god knows how they "slaughter" them nowadays. i used to be vegan and veggie off and on until i finally came to the conclusion that this universe involves pain and death and consumption of other creatures. so now i eat meat too but i try to harvest my own whenever possible so im sure its killed clean.
I used to have issues with my younger brother working in the Meat Department at a grocery store as I too have an issue with the industry. He's assured me though that the methods used by his company are... I guess the 'most' humane possible and I think that here in Canada things might be a little better than in the states (since our population is so much lower and we require so much less food overall). I've been veggie a couple times, but I do eat meat. I've always tried to go with alternate options when possible or go with organic meat but sometimes it's just not feasible for a city girl living around the poverty line to go all out like that. Still, it's nice to make the effort when I can.
missinsanity is very nice and a good person and friend and im happy to that we chat on msn now if anyone else wants to make friends just PM me or something.
im glad i meet a hunter who isnt a total asshole. i hunt but i only shoot old animals or animals that im going to eat. i never let an animal go to waste, if i dont eat it i give the animal to one of my fathers friends who love deer. i see too many people who drive around guns loaded hopping out and shooting a fawn in the middle of a field. so thank you for being what a hunter should be.
thats cool man. but you know what? i was surprised to hear from alot more hunters than i expected who were like "of course i eat what i hunt" i was kinda proud at that time and wasnt so ashamed as i usually am to be an american. but sadly it is a trend for stupid fucking rednecks thinking that the only way they can enjoy the forest is to go kill animals for fun... people are just fucking stupid. they need to wake up. and yea ive heard alot of stories about those idiots out there almost fucking killing my friends because theyre so trigger happy they literally shoot at anything that moves out there... one shot 1 kill you fucking hicks. grow up, grow a brain cell. so much for those hunter safety training courses eh?
lets just keep it as an intro topic then and end the confusion by not discussing anything else welcome to here
