I Need A New Digital Scale

Anyone know any good sites to buy good digital scales? I want something that is sturdy and accurate but affordable.

 

Ok then I guess since no responses I will stick with my original plan and just go to my local head shop, lol

kitchen scales are usually not too accurate. Most kitchen scales will weigh up to max a few pounds. The more weight a scale can handle the less accurate it becomes. For example: I have two scales, one of which is accurate to 2 decimal places (0.01 aka 2 point scale) with a maximum capacity of 50 grams. The second is accurate to 1 decimal place (0.1 aka 1 point scale) with a maximum capacity of 500 grams. Kitchen scales will more than likely be 1 point with a max capacity of a few pounds, therefore they will not be what you want, unless of course you are a commercial grower and are getting yields of multiple pounds. You can get scales on ebay for quite cheap, I recommend a 2 point scale, that way you can also weigh up things other than weed if need be.

 

Im well aware of the ins and outs of digital scales tyvm, but the question was about where to find them and price was an issue.

Im my experience as an herbalist, I find you can get a good kitchen scale at a kitchen shop cheaper than you can usually find a good drug scale at a head shop. Most drug scales are terribly fragile and dont stand up to moving around, unlike kitchen scales which are made to withstand a little more actual use.

Ive gotten 3 from them, and no problems.

but you get what you pay for, obviously. anything under $10 just aint worth it.

I didn't post to tell you that I have an awesome collection of two scales, I was merely stating that a kitchen shop isn't going to have 2 point scales and their 1 points aren't very accurate, as it's not a huge deal when you are making a recipe if you add an extra point of sage . If you want a cheap scale check ebay or amazon as you aren't paying retail that way.

And my infinity 2 point scale is pretty durable...been carrying it around in backpacks and cars almost daily for several months no with no problems.
