Ed Milliband is the new leader of the Labour party.

Apparently he wants to leave behind New Labour and move more to the left (but not very far I would imagine).

Good choice? Would you vote for him?

I don't know enough about him at the moment to say,
my main impression is that he looks about 12 years old,
    which I find disturbing.

Another man in another suit with another worrying hairstyle.

I really dont think there's much difference between the main parties any more...they're all interchangeable.

Rather agreeing with Mr. Frankenstein on this one.
I'm waiting for some politician to say something that is actually new and might promote positive change in our society. Can't say I have much opinion of the new leader of Labour. Despite Ed Miliband having a younger face, and thus you hope younger ideas and opinions about how government should run. I am very doubtful that any new ideas will come, that will actually benefit the average person. We'll have to see. I think I've become rather cynical about all things political.

Hang on a second. The political elections decide the party to take power, not the person at the head of the party. Additionally, if I remember correctly, the floor was opened up for people to oppose Gordon Brown becoming Prime Minister. Hardly anyone stepped forward to oppose him, rumours around which indicate they were all concerned about what would happen to their careers if they opposed him and he got in anyway. Bunch of lily livered brown tongues.
