How does LSA from woodrose or from morning glories differ in effect from LSD?

I've always wondered, known plenty of people who've done it, but I've never bothered to ask how it is in relation to its more popular/notorious cousin. This question may have been asked by others before, I don't know, but I do know that what I hope to get on this thread are actual back-to-back style trip reports so I can decide if I'd like to give, what is it, like five or six of those woodrose buggers a go! I'm sure I do, and I'll likely follow one of the extraction methods listed in some other threads, but not before I read a few or so of peep's trip reports specifically comparing it to LSD, since Lucy is something I'm very, very familiar with. Like, for starters, does it come on with all the weird cramps in your back, chills, goose flesh, and feverish temperature that is so common with LSD? Do you find yourself feeling highly suggestible like with acid? Are the visuals just as stunning... or, more so or perhaps less so? Does it have thee quintessential good/evil dichotomy/vibe that LSD is characteristic of? I guess that's a few questions to get HBWR or morning glory seed eaters a good enough place to begin and thusly, help me make up my mind about whether I'd rather or rather not munch some of these down, or, extract the LSA and dose that stuff down.

Like always, thank you to those who leave me helpful/insightful/fun-to-read posts!

I haven't done LSD, but here's what I get from morning glories.

    1. Take about 500 seeds, ground up, in a yogurt or something so you can't taste them, else you will vomit later. No silly water extractions, don't waste seeds.
    2. Mild nausea for an hour, goes away quickly.
    3. Kaleidoscopic disco CEV's, they can be pretty intense in the darkness.
    4. Body load - you're aware of every touch, smell, whatnot. General feeling of heaviness, so you better sit and don't move. I haven't noticed increases in temperature.
    5. Echoing sounds, reverberating sounds, pretty magical stuff.
    6. Open eye visuals - colors intense, patterns move and change, edges have rainbows, 'breathing' of everything, nature becomes absolutely breathtaking - flowers, trees become alive etc.
    7. Eyes are all over - in the fractals, in the sky, in the trees.
    8. Aztec/Mayan theme - for some reason these seeds produce intense Aztec art visions.
    9. Feeling of love, happiness, oneness, divinity.
    10. Very mystical feeling.
    11. Time dilution - at the peak on experience time seems to stop or slow down.

That's of course not exhaustive list, but general idea what personally happens to me on LSA. Maybe others can share too ?

I've taken LSA a few times but not LSD. From my experiences, everything about the LSA trips was similar to what I've read about LSD. That's not surprising since it's a very similar molecule.

I had 2 succesfull MG trips and about a dozen beautiful LSD trips the highest being at 420mcg/hoffman aniversary hits we had going around.

LSD comes on within 1hr at the most, maybe 30-40min....it was about 10yrs ago I had my LSA experience/s but I remeber about 1-2hrs of stomach cramps and waiting for the MG seeds to digest (i am sure that I grinded them first b/c it was a few bags worth). After a bit of pain (i endured didn't have a weed conection back then) the nausea either resided or I puked however I made sure not to throw up until at least 2hrs after ingestion...maybe a combo of both.

I walked around the summer sun in the street in pure ecstacy carrying a household glass with water and a big smile on my face.

It felt much chiller in nature than LSD....visual wise I dont think i had too much to have shit materialize but I had to have sunglasses most of the time b/c I couldn't keep my eyes open from the brightness. It felt more natural dispite the stomach discomfort. Another time I had weed for it and there wasn't as much stomach discomfort but I had about half of what I had the 1st time I was just describing so it was nice but nothing to write about.

They are slightly similar, but the trips aren't too comparable. Mainly because HBWR/MG seeds give me this sedating/slow, derped out feeling that acid doesn't give me. I can even fall asleep on the HBWR/MG as opposed to tripping on LSD. The effects it has on my thought process is almost identical to Lucy though. The visuals are alot less intense on the seeds than acid, but I've achieved pretty powerful ones from the seeds anyways. Basically, I see LSA and the ergoline alkaloids as unprocessed, natural version of LSD before its synthesized. Hope that helps. GL.

    2 year old thread, brah.

But yeah, other than the fact that LSA dose is limited by toxicity and as such, it can't get as intense as LSD can, it's also limited by the fact that it knocks you the fuck out. Kind of like opiates..... but with extra pain (and occasional colours), instead of removed pain :p

It's also hard to get as much for positive mental effects, the duration is a bit short and the sedation is too much to experience as much from doses that would otherwise be fun.
