I believe we as humans are all about to awaken. The force lies within each and every one of us and the books, dvds, etc. that you'll find about them in new age shops and bookstores is a marketing scheme. They tell you the truth but not the full truth. Obeying the idea of a certain set of people being more special than others is one step towards marginalized consciousness. Its one step more prejudice. One step from another holocaust. No different than christian identity. We all come from atoms. The same source, the same foundation. Why can't we all see ourselves as apart of one force, one existence, one being?

After reading this thread, I was browsing about my house and found a book or two on the topic of Indigo and Crystal children. To me this new "breed" of children sounds both scientifically and evolutionarily implausible. Another excuse for parents to rave about how special their child is...

 

I believe people all have different abilitites...and the more closed up/ignorant one is to their powers/abilitites the less potential they will have...I mean if you don't love yourself for who you are and accept your beautiful psychicness then you're creating such a block from seeing great wonders...

 

i just read the list of traits the indigo children share and for except one they all strongly describe me. and that is that i hate when my parents used to put me through guilt trips over little shit like saying shit or even CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP. lol hmm does that mean im not indigo? like...was that one one of indigo's strong points?

 

Sounds to me like somebody picked a set of random traits that could describe anyone and gave it a special name.

 

I think the reason people relate to the indigo child traits so much is because its a marketing scheme. The traits for an indigo child all sound like the traits of the average american teenager. Rebellious without a cause.

so basically an indigo child is one who knows how to cut through the bullshit... well, to cut through the bullshit, one must first realise where it comes from; this is 100% the Nietzschean concept of the overman. only, one can become the overman through focused self-development through sheer force of will.

well, i got as far as the color of the auras and stopped.
many moons ago i was a teacher for "gifted and talented" preschoolers. what exactly that meant, no one knew, other than higher test scores, preschool test scores.
Lisa could Tye her shoes at 2,, put her in it, bobby can read like a 2ND grader,, put him in it. I'm sure progress has been made in identifying certain types of behavioral and intellectual differences in very young kids.

i can say in general, genetics gives you possibilities, everything else is directly related to the input you receive from birth . show me your most indigo child, the bluest of the blues, from birth, and set her in front of the tv, instead of loving , nurturing parents that stimulate her senses and SHOW her how shes supposed to be.
the tv kid will be autistic.

Who the Indigo children are, of course, is in great debate. Many psychics are saying that they are coming from the indigo ray, a very high level of consciousness not of this Earth. ya, i knew i shouldnt have used that word, autistic. there are to many variations of the theme for it to be 1 word.with severe autism,the child is almost totally cut off from his enviroment, so im not sure how you could tell how spiritual they are,,,

i was speaking more on the lines the behavorial, when any child is not given enough input , and taught how to think, react, solve problems, communicate feelings.

Nah. My mum thought I must have been years ago, but I'm definitely not, upon reading the description.

I have difficulty looking at my own aura, but that first layer that I see around entire body (apart from my head) is a greeny-bluey sort of colour, similar to this. Most often my crown/head alternates between purple and yellow. I've also noticed it's more thread-like and... flowing(?) around my head. The first layer around my body is pretty stable.

is there any scientific proof for indiglow people ?

are they biologically different?

if so, is there any trustworthy scientific sources that have studied these differences?
