ok so band aid single goes released today

what are your real thoughts on it?
personally i'll buy it, but not cos of the song because i honestly think this version is hardly as good as the original, i mean, they could have written a new song. i'll buy it for the cause.

Rubbish, not a match for the original... far more rocky and 80s! NICE!

 

I heard it recently and it was awful. But luckily if you by the DVD single you get the original version with it and the live Band Aid concert version as well.

 

I didn't think it was that bad, just that rap bit in the middle, what was that about?

Dizee Rascal is great! He's funny, poet and really does stick up for what he believes... you can hear it in his words. He's grand Doesn't make the song any better though

 

Nothing is ever going to match the impact of that first Band Aid single... I do like the way they have tried to do something different with the song even though I'm not too sure about the end results...


Yeah, I'm sure that I'll buy it because that's what you should do regardless of whether you think its great or crap...

Is it me or has the quality of vocalists nosedived since the 80s?...

i think its great, definately gona buy it..i want the video tho..it was awful..i started my new job on saturday and i had to throw away a load of food becuase all these posh snobs didnt turn uyp for there three course meal and apparently im not allowed to eat the leftovers...so as was bitterly throwing 8 steaks and a tray full of roasties into a food munching machine bandaid was on the massive mtv projector screen singing feed the world...damn..i felt so awful
