If it were possible for someone to come along and have an influential effect on your dreams would you welcome it? I think it could be an interesting experience for myself and the person influencing my dreams. What do you think?

Research this, "Lucid dreaming" (i'll just point you directly to www.dreamviews.com, best site on the subject ) lucid dreaming is beeing aware that you are dreaming. If you're lucid, then you can control your dreams and do whatever you want, imagine it like beeing Neo in the matrix, but then beeing in TOTAL control.
I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you mean like in the movie Dreamscape, where psychic people could enter another person's dreams and kill them? Or just, the influence on your dreams that a person in your life might have...? More clarification, please! -Jeffrey
Ok what i Mean is, you know when you have a dream that someone was knocking on your door and you let someone in then you awake to hear the door knocking. The door knocking has influenced your dream, what I'm saying is what if someone could have the same influence over your dreams, just the door knock influenced a dream.
this last IS a thing that really bothers me. i feel that it is a violation of the second most basic and fundimental of all human rights after existence itself and that is your freedom of thought. whether it is my dreams that are affected or my meditative thoughts in waking life, to me thoughlessness IS the abscence of moral charicter and 'disturbing the peace' is NOT VICTUMLESS and a REAL crime. this is one of the things that makes me maybe not the easiest person in this world to live with. this is why i would rather live alone, far from the coerciveness of human society, then WITH anyone, however much i might otherwise feel emotionaly drawn to them. i do love certain kinds of sounds like those of nature or of trains going by. especial when, like snow covering the litter on the ground, they mask and burry the sound and content of anything resembling the human voice. to me it is the sounds of televisions, radios, recorded and broadcast music and speach in all forms that is the REAL 'noise pollution' and NOT the sounds of industry and infrastructure. so no i seriously do NOT welcome that kind of influence in/on them AT ALL! now strainge people actualy showing up IN my dreams, without streightjacketting my influence in them but shairing their influence of our surroundings WITH me. THAT i welcome often times with open arms. though i also enjoy being alone in them too, just like i do in waking life. i guess it's that robbing me of my influence in them by external waking world influences and intrusions that REALLY offends me. so if you ever have to wake me up: use a very long disposable object not part of yourself and be prepaired to run like hell! =^^= .../\...
A friend visited me this morning and she told about huge cats and then I remembered the huge tiger striped and speckled cats who had walked in and out of my dreams tonight. So is there anything existing without any influence at all ... and I do not talk about influence given on purpose but impulses shared just because we are alive, and changing on. And who is the one giving, and who is the one receiving then ... those parts of us who act and react to the needs to change and grow, to become who we are, and feed the others the same way ... those parts of us who draw the lessons in full responsibility no matter we are aware of it or not. Those who seeks to influence the dreams of others on purpose are maybe not aware they do cause effects anyway yet it might not be in the way they have expected. And it is like you always get the resonance, too, of all your efforts - be they made on purpose or not - even the mere setting of a purpose creates a new ripple. Yet all what the ripple does is - ask us again and again what it is we truly want. Do we truly want to influence dreams and lifes of others and which way ... do we want to grasp for a power that in the end is none ... or is it all about just becoming who we truly want to be, with the help of the mysterious others. We are multidimensional beings and in this all part of a greater whole and not separate. Sometimes we just have forgotten. Yeah be welcome ...
