hi everyone. just wondering if anyone else is here is on adderall or other stimulants? i love my speed & weed.. lol. if you don't take adderall, do you have any experiences with family/friends using it or have you tried it before? i'm on a relatively low dose of the instant release kind. share your adderall or stim stories here thanks in advance.
I used to love the stuff, but now I take vyvanse if I need a pick-me-up. It's the same deal as adderall, a stimulant, but has a slighty different chemical structure and if made from a different company. I prefer it. I would take between 70-100 mg of Vyvanse or 30-60mg of Addy, and not every day so the high was always good. These days I wont go above 70mg Vyv and 50mg Addy. I also haven't taken it in about two months. The shit is bad for your body. Lol, Speed and Weed FTW
is vyvanse any easier on your body/mind than adderall? i've heard of people taking it and not liking it, not sure why, but i've personally never had experience with it. it's relatively newly prescribed here it seems... yeah, adderall isn't good for long-term use if you care about your health but there are things you can do. magnesium, dmae, and other more shallow things like keeping hydrated and not becoming a slave to anorexia, etc. hopefully there is a right way to use this drug without too many fucked up things happening to me later on in my life. fml for now.
I just got prescribed vyvanse 30mg pills, and they are ok but i get a slight headache on comedown, i might try to get adderall instead.
I get perscribed adderal (30mgs)... And take it pretty regularly. I used to take concerta but it gave me massive headaches on the comedown, adderal doesn't do that for me.. XR's are the best...
Vyvanse is "supposed" to be better because it's new, but you can find it out for yourself on the web. Neither are good for long term use or for people to randomly take 80mg at a time. In my opinion, all these ADHD drugs are just shit for your body. There are things you can do, I agree, but try to stay on this drug for as short a time as possible (in my opinion.) You'll be fine, just don't abuse it too heavily.
I hear your opinion dude! Im with you. They are really shitty for your body, especially after LONG term use. I use stimulants like concerta, adderal, and others from time to time, but i dont really get any kind of recreational high from them. Just use them to get things done.
I too am an adderall lover. I have been for about four years. I dont get too much of the euphoria that I used to get, I just love the focus and concentration... I dont care to much for the inability to sleep after taking so many...I always try to keep some benzos on hand so I dont get too strung out.
I had a little phase of adderall use and abuse, mainly because it was/is cheap but compared to like other stimulants like mephedrone, mdma and crystal meth it doesn't compete. It's basically like diet meth and the side effects are not quite as bad but I had noticeable comedowns and desire to redose and stuff from it. Vyvanse is kind of meh, I've smoked it and taken it orally. I probably prefer adderall over oral vyvanse but its pretty potent when smoked, although doesn't last as long.
I also am in love with adderall but I have just divorced and my insurance is no longer paying for the meds. Do you have any advice on how I can get my hands on some...I too like and need the focus and clarity and would be willing to pay someone who wants to sell some. I can no longer afford a psychiatrist to prescribe it.

Yeah man, I actually recently got a script for addy, and I actually use it for it's intended purpose. Looking back on it I think I actually have an attention problem. You've smoked them? I would personally never smoke it, but I'm curious if it actually works. I've heard different things. How was it as compared to taking it orally?
I like speeding, vyvanse is the best 70mg because you come down late at night when you are going to bed. It keeps you awake all day, perfect high/concentration and then puts you right to sleep at night.. Great! But I haven't done it in a few months.. Speeding and then smoking is the best thing EVER though
What is the speed + weed high feel like? I'm familiar with both, but I've never smoked before a speed comedown. -Love my addys. Scripted for 30 20mg IR tabs a month. I always shoot for a middle of the road high, usually 40 mg IR, followed by 20 mg or 10mg x2 in order to prevent comedown / get a little higher. 50mg at once feels dammmm good, but I like my current tolerance level (pretty much baseline still). Just took a single 20 this morning, and I could tell / "feel" I was on it. Just the very most subtle sense of pins/needles in the head. I think my tolerance will stay good for a long time, as I only use it 2-4 times a week, and have been using magnesium supplements, and plan on adding tyrosine to the supplement mix. Do any of you use an antacid just before taking your amphetamines? I just recently learned that you absorb more if the stomach is in a basic state, and google searches reveal that many people can tell the difference. How much difference does it make for you? For instance, would it be enough of an effect to drop from 40mg to 30mg + antacid and have the same effect? I don't want to get more high but saving pills is always nice. Wanna let my friends get high on this shit when I have an excess so that they know what I'm raving about As a kid I used lots of different medicines as I was really ADHD and hard to manage (I'm actually really mellow now but really wasn't then! lol). Anways, I know I used ritalin with good results for a long time, and eventually concerta for a few years, and for a short time adderall in high school(never abused then). There were a lot of others too, my mom has a file at home listing all of them that I kinda want to go through at some point so I know what my young brain used to deal with, but I digress... I'm sort of wondering (out loud) if that could have an affect on my stimulant baseline nowadays. Simply, do you think having used stimulants at therapeutic levels for many years in the past, followed by a looong break could have permanent affects on tolerance? I can't really go with the "addy doesn't work give me something better" because then I'd risk getting switched to a non-stim (which don't do shit for me). I would even like to use desoxyn, but it has such a bad image because it is meth I wouldn't wanna drop that taboo word in front of my doc! double edit: sorry for digging up a semi-old thread.
I love Adderall. I am given it for treatment resistant depression, so it is essentially a license to get high every day since I am so miserable. It works pretty well. Better than any conventional antidepressant. In fact, I am feeling it pretty strongly right now!
