The Netherlands

Hey guys, I may be going to the Netherlands soon, in very close proximity to Amsterdam...what are the laws like there? Is it really as liberal as it seems? What kind of drugs are popular there and other than meeting the right people where do I go, what do I do? Any advice is welcome..

Also are there a lot of raves/E going around in Amsterdam?

 

Lot's of shit going on there, but there is this bullshit 5am everywhere closes licence, but you can still get a whore if you haven't pulled by then. Watch out for the cops if you want to smoke a hash pipe in the street, especially around the red light area. I got a ticket for 150 euro there a few years ago, and i fought it in court twice and lost.

I'd recommend Nijmegen if you want a nice atmosphere, you can get anything you want there.

You can get anything you want over there, but tourists can get fucked with. Watch out for the European E pills, they can have NASTY shit in them, their is an electronic scene though so you can probably find molly.

 

It's pretty liberal..

I was there this summer and there are coffeeshops everywhere, as well as quite a few smart shops. I didn't get to actually go into any of the coffeeshops as I was a minor, but I would just assume that the ones in central A-dam are going to be more expensive than if you go out of town by train somewhere.

I picked up some herbals in Delft, and they were great and pretty cheap.

I was able to smoke doobies in the street, but generally the citizens seem to prefer that you keep your toking to the shops - I didn't get hassled by any cops for smoking but I believe you can get a ticket for public smoking.

Also, just because it's liberal with Cannabis there's no reason to blindly trust drug dealers. If you want some psychedelics you can get the psychoactive truffles from smart shops.

They banned the mushrooms.. but for whatever legal reason they still sell the psychedelic truffles (I suppose that they're not considered to be mushrooms or something?).

 

you can get anything if you have a circle of friends there, the fact that mushrooms are illegal is not stopping anyone.
