Will yesterday's alcohol have any effect on today's acid trip? Need responses asap.

So yesterday I was dragged by my friends to SF to see the Giants game, even though I'm not really much of a baseball fan (and the giants lost anyways, lol). I must have had at least 90 ounces of beer (like one 40 ouncer, half of a 32 ouncer a couple hours later, then 24 ounces an hour later) on that day (Friday Oct 1, 2010).

SWIM also went to San Fran to pick up what he says is some very fine acid. It looks pretty bomb. And I am planning on tripping today (Saturday Oct 2, 2010). And this trip is not just any trip, I will be trying to go further than I've ever went before. In other words this will be a solo 1000+ microgram acid trip (entire ten-strip of blotter).

One thing I am worried about though. I can still feel some remnant of the alcohol effect from last night. No I'm no where near hangover, I just sort feel that feeling that I got at least some big of alcohol in my system. I know that alcohol tends to less trips, but then again it was last night. Not like I have drank since last night but will the 90 ounces of beer I had yesterday effect today's trip? I hope not, I want a total ego shattering trip today and who even knows whether I have enough even without the beer. But yeah I hope the beer won't effect it.

If so I was thinking of toking some fine sour deisel buzz after I have my last meal before the trip, which would be a few hours before hand (4-6 hours). I don't usually smoke pot the same day I take classical psychedelics until the trip peak. But I'm thinking it will lessen the effect of any amount of alcohol left in the system.....but I hope it won't effect the trip a few hours later (usually people say that pot takes the edge off if you take it before the trip, though I'm not sure whether 4-6 hours before really matters).

Any advice? Thanks in advance to all those who reply.

 

i personally believe alcohol and psychedelics make a horrible mix. And i have felt alcohol effects the day after heavy use too - it is not at all unheard of. If you really are going to dose that high (i honestly believe the good SF White on White LSD is about 50-60 mcgs per hit, but that would STILL be a MASSIVE dose.) you should be as cleaned out (physically and mentally) as possible . . .

 

its less about how alchy and acid mix in my experience, but if you are having a hangover from the day before doing acid will only make you WAY more aware of it!

 

I agree with both of the above posts. For me, if I have to ask any questions then it's not the right day to dose.

 

Interesting responses. I should make it clear though that I do not have a hangover. I don't feel like shit at all, in fact I feel pretty alright. I just got that remnant effect....you know that kinda feel it in the system but it's mostly gone.

I know if I smoke a bowl I will feel almost no slight after effects what so ever from the previous night's drinking....but I'm always worried it might take the edge off the trip before hand. Will smoking 4-6 hours before the trip make the journey less intense? Remember that I'm trying to go for the deepest trip possible.

 

why cant you just trip a day later to be double safe man?

Anyways, the liquor had nearly no effect on the acid. And I just have to say.....WOW MAN!!!!!! This was the strongest cleanest acid SWIM has ever had. Yes I took the entire ten-strip and wow, my life is forever changed. I did not know 1000 mcgs of acid would be so much more intense than a couple hundred hits. I felt the spirit of the Earth enter my spine and for some time I was everywhere on Earth at once. So much colorful energy....when I took acid before I did not get visuals like this. Endless Fractal Beauty everywhere.

The afterglow makes me want to hug every person on Earth.
