oxycodone

    here is a nice synthesis of oxycodone but i dont understand a sentence as i am not a chemist:"Ok, so you throw in like 3 molar % (of initial moles of codeine) of Pd/C (either 10% or 5% Pd on Carbon)"
    can someone help me to understand please?

    Yeah that doesn't really make sense because what is the molecular weight of Pd/C, say 10 or 20C to 1Pd, sum, okay that is easy enough. Then just use 3% of the mole equivalence to the amound of codeine. Thats my best guess. No one should attempt this especially if all they have to go off of is said recipe.
