And here is another http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Paris_Night.jpg Oh my..........
This makes me nostalgic... I used to live in the banlieue of Paris. I recognise quite a few things in those pics :3 (The fugly Pompidou Centre and Montparnasse Tower are a bit of a blight on the skyline in the first pic IMO )
I did not need that wiv my tea and toast- shocker well yea it was! Beautiful pic's otherwise !!! Made me yearn for a bit of ohhh la la ...(not that kind either) put me right off the 'states' hahaahha
mmmmm I LOVE Paris. This is making me want to go back SO badly. Who wants to join me for an impromtu Paris trip!!!
I wish I could visit this place. I really truly do. Such beauty in architecture. Not too many lights, but not too little. Medical treatment isn't questioned. Doctors still make house calls. The people appreciate great music. So tolerant of our American crap. Without them we wouldn't even be a country. Even though I can't understand a word of what they're saying, I still admire the subtle tones their language. At least they will tolerate a humble man TRYING to learn their language and giggle at the slight mistakes I make in pronunciation. They know I won't butcher it forever. So much art. So much history. So much history in art. A truly amazing place. Its safe to say that a guy like me is likely to end up in a place like that. Thanks so much for the pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed them.
I like Paris, beautiful city. I wish they would control the 'professional beggars.' Now Amsterdam and Valkenburg (and the Sunday market at La Batte) I love, especially the quietness of Valkenburg.
