Wearing a chain on your wallet was cool

I still see full grown men doing this every once in a while. They usually have barbwire tattoo's around one arm.

 

I always wondered how much money they had in those wallets that made it worthwhile to chain it to their person?

I've been looking for a chain for my keys.

The clip I have now is fine, but they make too much noise sometimes.

 

Man dudes in Ky still wear chains on their wallets .It matches their straggly blue jean shorts and cowboy boots ensemble .Bless their hearts .LOL

The wallet chains were actually a really really good idea.

 

When I was in middle school and high school, all the hot skater guys wore jnco jeans with wallet chains...I thought it was so so sexy lol.

 

I seriously don't ever remember them being cool

 

I dont remember them not being cool or considered a weapon

 

Yea, what an odd fashion trend. I used to do it.

 

I bought a Sublime wallet that came with a chain on it.

I took it off.

 

I had one, but it's because I used to lose my wallet a lot.

 

I had one I hated that fucking chain, it was always getting tangled up in stuff when I sat down.

 

i remember that chain and wallet stuff all the way back to the late 1960's.

i just saw one of those on a guy, who looked like a biker a couple of days ago.

i wear a travel wallet that has a nylon strap.
i have also put hooked straps to my key ring and my mobile phone case and, my hobo tool.
i wear a chain around my neck with a can opener on it.

i do alot of camping and hiking. thats why i have all that chain and strap shit on me.

 

If anyone is prone to losing their wallet it is way cooler to still have your wallet with it's insignificant cash, and a chain on it.

 

a guy i dated in high school had a sublime wallet with a chain! oh shit that brought back memories. he did not take the chain off. he was trendy. he wore jnco jeans too...am i the only person that remembers jnco jeans??
