old soul lost in modern suburbia

Hey guys!

I am a 23 year old guy named Michael. I suppose that just like every one else, I am in constant search for meanings and justifications for life. And like most people on here, I am an old soul, born 60 years too late, looking for someone like me, looking to make some new friends, maybe even a new connection that will change me in some amazing way.

I am an entrepreneur (I won't post crap about my work on here though), I am an artist, and I am an aspiring author. I live in the glorious Denver Colorado, and I am sorry to say that I am a bit biased when it comes to territory. I truly believe that Colorado is the best place on the earth.

What's so good about Denver? I don't know much about the city. Tell me why I should pack up and move there!

Colorado has everything. Denver is one of the largest cities I've been to. There are definitely city people running around, and almost none of them wear cowboy boots. On the 16th street mall there is a hippie bar called Illegal Pete's, and between every stoplight is a dispensary offering lower and lower prices.

If you're more accustomed to wealthy 20 - 70 something hippies, and dont mind some valley kids, then you should check out Boulder. It has a rap for being a big party city, but that's just because that's what we want everyone to think.

If you're a very experienced hippie and you want some comrades, I would definitely suggest Nederland. It is in the mountains, but the people who own and run the town are the best in the state.

If you are a middle to upperclass family there are several different options in all of the suburbs. If you are more conservative and are from Arizona, try Colorado Springs. And I feel like Pueblo will soon be like New Mexico. (I recently lived down there and they are taking some impressive steps to clean it up). And if you are a farmer, then you are in luck, because the whole Eastern part of the state is agricultural land.

We have the cutest stoner girls.

And my favorite aspect of Colorado is that we are starting to get world wide acclaim for our art scene. And we have a NUTS art scene! It is how I am making a living.

Life here is perfect.

 

I truly believe that Dairy Queen is the best place on earth....and i gotta say I am rarely if ever wrong so ...hey...a dairy queen IN colorado...now tHAT WOULD BE GREAT
