Pubic Hair today compared to like 1980.

I was curious in this day and age does anyone else feel that shaved is fading away and having hair there is the new thing? I just keep getting mixed info from various sources on it.

I don't think so, but I haven't slept with anyone in a couple years. It's becoming more of a personal choice.

 

No, I think hairless is getting more popular than ever, with girls, and even guys are starting to trim/shave more often then in the past. I for one, prefer natural for myself, and my wife trims but I don't like the hairless look myself...but that's just a preference. I don't like a full jungle either.

 

The full bush is rare, trimmed or bare still fairly common.

 

It's all playboy's fault.

If you take a look at playboy playmate timeline, its all about the full bush in the '80s, trimmed racing stripes in the '90s, and bald miserable nothingness in the '00s.

Full bush is ok. Stripes are sexy. Trimmed is nice too. But bald doesn't do it for me.

 

It gladdens my heart to learn that I'm not the only one who really doesn't dig smooth. To me just doesn't seem right to shave around your pubic area whether male or female, trim and tidy or totally left fine but bald just doesn't look right. That's what I feel though I know there are others who prefer to be smooth.

 

Just do it.

Trimmed is the way to go, otherwise it turns into a jungle down there.

The 1980s was a fairly robust era for hair; I let mine grow wild but it did become a menace as I went into cycle racing, at such time it was neatly trimmed. Either sex was virtually the same — big and bushy — until the early 1990s when shaving came into vogue as "the new natural" and now seems to remain so. I do not really want to pass value judgements on those with or without hair but will say shaved does look very odd; I enjoy the natural look and clothes-free irrespective of hair, how much or how styled. Dreadlocked pubic hair would be a novel sight. Never heard of that before...

 

I have a beautifull triangle that I have never trimmed or shaved all of my life.

Thats the way to go...or a little "landing strip" is always nice too. I don't mind fully bare, and I don't really care for full on bush, but a little somethin somethin is good

 

I shave the left side and leave the right side full on bush. I think cuz I'm a gemini

 

You don't need to do a damn thing to your pubic hair. Just leave it the way it naturally grows. Encourage your partner to do the same, and enjoy it. Show that you like each other's body without anything needing to be changed!
