i remember when garfield first came out, i was still in the single digits, age-wise. i was a huge fan at the time, and i collected EVERYTHING...figurines, all the books, soap, plastic banks, tons of stuffies, etc. these days, i don't think the strip is funny, and i actually cringe half the time when i read it. it's about as funny as Family Circus or Dennis the Menice, IMO.
i was allways about ready to puke out my guts whenever my niece and nephew would turn it on! even when i was a little kid, i thought kids' cartoons were shit. i never was allowed to be child, so i guess that is normal for growing up abnormaly
how could you not remember this cartoon...so classic just as classic as ninja turtles n scooby doo...yea garfield was awesome the friends part was alright...i watched it everyday and read most of the comics huge fan lol
I own ALL the Garfield comic strips, I don't like the Friends in Garfield and Friends, damn farm animals...iggy:
I used to love Garfield and Friends... my nephew watches the new Garfield show which uses computer animation... ITS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and everytime he watches it I get upset and try to make him turn the channel.
